broken when line was caught up in the

props.

1972 Ralph Reyes Was ran over by the 44346 and lived to tell

1977-1978 Jim Wheatley MK3 ..Feb. 1977 to July 1978 Took her to the dry docks in S.F.

worked with "Bud Brown" and the famous Dayla Jones...

"Still waiting for the photos of Dayla" :)

Leon trained Jim with the help of "Codfish" He also was one of the last

men standing on the way to S.F. during the night storm on the way to dry dock.

one nasty night.

1978                Steve Strauser                    Took the 44346 to the Navy dry docks in
                                                                                    S.F. for maintenance.
                                                                  Rode her out 50 knotts in 20 foot waves

on a SAR looking for a lost boat, and

then brought her back in 20 foot waves being

swamped on the way in, but made it home as usual.

1980-1982 Dan Campos Seaman and EMT living in Santa Cruz now.

1987-1991 Pete Illenberg Coxswain, Crewman, and Boat Keeper Worked with John Julett and Brad Reed.

In 1989 a crew took the 44346 to SF after the Loma Prieta Earthquake and shuttled aid. The crew received a Humanitarian Service medal for their efforts.

1989-1990 John Schlank coxswain worked on the 44308 in channel island

                                                                                                  harbor.
                                                borrowed the 44346 when the 44308 was
                                                in for major repairs after rolling it on the
                                                rocks.
